How To Get Started With The Five Percent Nation

In order to truly understand the teachings of the Five Percent you must walk and talk with True and Living Gods and Earths.

2. Reach out to individuals of said cipher and attend that cipher's events.

At the Five Percent Nation, we take a holistic approach to community support. Many are called, few are chosen, and the chosen ones choose themselves.

3. Commit yourself to an educator and become a student to complete your Rite of Passage.

Build/Building

Constructive communication and/or tangible work.

Cipher

A cipher is a person, place, or thing. Also, coming together to build.

Civilize

To teach someone how to adhere to codes of conduct.

Parliament

The gathering of Gods, Earths, and Children where Nation business is conducted. There is one monthly Universal parliament in NYC and local Parliaments that happen across the United States.

Fruit

A term used by some to refer to whom they taught. Related to the term "Tree".

First Born

Used by itself, the term refers to those who were selected by Allah to represent his teachings. Used in relation to a city outside of Mecca, the term refers to the first group of people to take on the knowledge in that city. (e.g., the First Born of Medina).

Graft

To remove something from its original state through a process (like selective breeding), producing a weaker end result.

Muslim

A term used to refer to those who follow the religion of Islam. Muslim means one who submits to the will of Allah. The Five Percent Nation are not Muslims.

Rally

Whenever the Gods, Earths, and Children gather together. Every Parliament is a Rally yet every Rally is not a Parliament.

This is the foundational process one must travel with an educator in order to be come a civilized person in Allah's 5%.

The way in which members of the Nation trace their lineage to Allah through one of the first born.

The concept that one's word is as binding as any promise or legal signature.
